A: Poured from the bottle into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is slightly hazy orangey-amber with a 1-finger, tight-bubbled foamy ivory head on top. Some lacing.
S: Old school DIPA nose: citrus & herbal hops, a touch of pine, over honey malt.
T: Citrus is there - more orange than anything else, though with a bit more bitterness on the finish that suggests grapefruit pith or peel. Some tropical fruit, but I keep coming back to creamy orange - it's like an orangesicle ice cream bar. A touch of peach is there, as well as some lime at the finish. The 8% ABV is not evident at all.
M: This beer loses me a bit with the mouthfeel - first impression, it comes across as thin and watery. After a few sips my palate adjusts, but it's still on the thin side, though a creamy carbonation becomes more noted. Finishes quite dry.
O: Interesting. Not sure what to make of this over all - it has some nice aspects to it, but the feel doesn't seem to fit a DIPA.

Pours hazy amber orange with a dense creamy white foam head. Smells like strawberry shortcake, pineapple, candied toffee, slight butterscotch, caramel, dark honey, bready biscuity grain, sweet guava, papaya, melons, berry, grapefruity citrus, with some earthy piney grass. Tastes like melon, berries, papaya, strawberry, guava, grapefruit, pineapple, orange, sweet toffee, dark honey, dark caramel, bready biscuity malt, with dank pine and herbal earthy grass. Feels medium bodied, smooth and creamy with low carbonation. Overall a nice double IPA.

It seems as though they fixed the suds issue on the 4/6/16 bottling however there is a new and more problematic issue...the smell. It literally smells like novelty fart spray that I bought as a kid. Despite that, it's drinkable and based on the brewer, I will try another bottling and re-review after that tasting. Avoid the 4/6 bottling if possible. Buy Happiness is a warm pun from late March instead until they work this one out

This beer tastes great - almost a Belgian yeast taste complementing the bitterness - but my only problem with it was that it was a complete gusher! An aggressive pour (or even a lame pour) yielded a 1 to 5 or more ratio of head - had to wait for it to settle down, and then it tasted great, and obviously left a huge amount of foamy lacing.

Good flavor. Juicy, smooth. Nice head, good lacing. Bought it after a tasting at a liquor store, and I like it. I'd get it again.

Pour a deep golden amber with about a finger of rapidly dissipating head. Aroma of tea and faint citrus. Taste follows aroma. Very smooth and well balanced. Very enjoyable.

Bought at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow. Bottled on 10/4/2015. The beer has a murky golden brown appearance with about a half-inch sized white head. Aromas included a light spice mixed with a buttery, floral smell. The taste included a dark fruit flavor mixed with citrus hops and malts.. Body and carbonation was too crisp, especially with the beer's flavors. Overall, I enjoyed the appearance and aromas of this drink, but its carbonation did not supplement the flavors well.
