An ale as complex and mystifying as a lovecraftian tale. A broth of barley and wheat is brewed, inoculated, and incubated over many day. The resulting miasmic concoction is fermented with Brettanomyces, creating a wonderfully tart beer which is unsettlingly delicious. Allowing this beverage to continue its slumber within this glass tomb will allow for mystical forces to further infuse this beer with otherworldly flavors and complexity.

If you like butter with carbonation you should most deffinately drink this.
Sour, but fruity Aroma. Something really sticky like medicine stand out.
Taste. Sour butter. Diacetyl and teh rest is pure horror.

Thanks to jedwards via jdiddy for sharing. Pours a golden-orange with a white head that dissipates into a slick. Nose expresses light fruity esters and a hint of something medicinal. Taste is really interesting - smoky and tart. I get a rauchbier/berlinner-weisse vibe off this beer. There's also a trace of something lactic. Mouthfeel is light and lively with a mild acidity. Overall, an interesting, albeit weird, hybrid that lacks a distinct identity.

Snagged this from the bottle release at the brewery, $15/750ml, poured into a Crooked Stave snifter.
Very bubbly, fizzy head, large bubbles, dissipates without appreciable lacing into a thin white head. Body is straw yellow and clear.
Smells of wild funky brett, farmhouse smell, with some white grape, and citrusy lemon.
Taste is somewhat hard to piece together here. There's a bready, yeasty dominant taste going on which overwhelms the majority of this beer. The carbonation is so high as to make this taste almost champagne-like. Still getting the funky, sour, farmhouse going on, but there is almost no sweetness to this.
Extremely dry and extremely highly carbonated. Tastes more like a brut champagne than a beer.
This might need time to bottle condition. I'll be putting my second bottle away for a while in hopes it improves. As-is, this is a hard pass, especially at the price point. Lot's of better beers at TRVE than this.
