L - pours an apple juice yellow, slight hazy look with minimal head that dissipates quickly. nice and refreshing look.
S - Salt for sure, something kinda funky there too but I can't put my finger on it. possibly a lemon-like spice I'm not familiar enough with in my kitchen cabinet.
T - Wow, definitely a new flavor mix for me. My mind wants to say big heat/alcohol because It coats my throat like a shot of hard stuff would. but I think its just the remains of the tequila barrel it aged in. Getting lots of yeasty/wheaty goodness with typical gose qualities. this is good but less refreshing because of that strange mouthfeel.
M - Still hot on the throat, medium-light body and possibly under carbonated.
O - A unique take on the gose style, I dig the barrel aging idea to use tequila barrels, this is a really cool beer, one that is truly unique.

A: Pours a bright orange/golden/straw color with a thin, fizzy, bone white head that fades almost immediately.
S: Straight up Gose territory; subtle tartness, hints of lemongrass and wheat, very slight suggestion of salinity.
T: The tequila barrel hits you right up front with big oak and agave flavors, followed by a slightly salty wheat body, and subtle tartness. The finish brings back the tequila with hay/grassy notes and lots of citrus/orange peel.
M: Bubbly/effervescent, perfect to really move the layers of flavor across your palate quickly. Light to medium body, I think the alcohol content gives this a bit more heft than your standard Gose but I enjoy it.
O: Very well done, excellent take on the style, keeping enough of the traditional Gose elements intact while making something very unique and ultimately highly drinkable.
