Review is of 9 month old bottle

Pours an effervescent, cloudy, pale orange body. Head was white and short lived. Lacing isnt present.

Smell is of a tart, slightly funky sour beer. Peach is lightly detected, straw/hay comes through as beer warms. Alcohol and hops arent detected.

Taste immediately reminds me of kombucha. Slightly more sour than a lot of goses' I've had and also under salted. Peach is subtle, age might have something to do with that. This beer drinks incredibly smooth, yet is one of the higher abv goses' i've had.

Mouthfeel is light and very bubbly. head died soon after pouring. After taste was slightly puckering and carbonation tingled the tongue.

Overall this was a good refreshing beer, not dead on the style, but enjoyable nonetheless. Believe this was a one time collaboration but I'd buy again if given the chance.

i love this beer, and even though it hasnt been out a real long time, it has aged nicely in the bottle over the short time it has. this is quite a lot more enjoyable than the sour red they did on the prairie side, too much vinegar there. this is more delicate, delicate even for a gose, very pale hazy beer, with an odd carbonation. its fizzy and it pops and it tickles the tongue, but it doesnt hold even a little bit of head in the glass. the bubbles just hit the surface and break. the aroma here is nice, the peaches sort of have a grilled character to them, a little sweeter and caramelized, maybe something brought on by the salt with the fruit, which is pretty prominent in this one, or maybe something it picked up in the barrel. not a lot of barrel fermented gose types out there, and it mellows this one nicely. i like the briny flavor, it really brings the peaches to the front. clean lacto too, none of the cheesy newness, this is way brighter than that, a little puckery but not overly sour, refreshing and drinkable more than anything else. the sweeter peach helps balance that aspect. fuller wheat base, a little unrefined there, but it doesnt hurt the overall beer. enormously unique and delicious, near the upper end of the fruited gose styles i have had. i wish i had another bottle to forget about awhile longer and see how much more the funk might evolve here, has to still be working. they should brew this again, its awesome.

Looks like straight pineapple juice. A little bit of sediment adds to the haze. Smells like acid and funk with the faint nice sweetness of peaches after the sourness. Wish the smell had more funk, but it is there. Tart on the tongue with that peach sweetness on the finish. Little bit of funk and softness stays on the palette. Overall delicious beer.
