Pale golden hued body; hazy; thick and fluffy white head. Aroma of sage and clover; citrusy; lemon zest. Very tart flavor; grapefruit and lime; a bit of bitterness peaks through near the finish and then gets swallowed right back by the sourness. Medium body; very tart, blending elements of sweet juiciness with an acidic dryness.

A very delicious sour ale, a collaboration with Perennial Artisan Ales. Soft and hazy in appearance with a citrus and herbal nose. The taste is tart and juicy, rather mouthwatering but finishes with a sharp dryness with just a hint of grapefruit juice tang. Fine stuff...

a collaboration with perennial, a honey based wild saison, two of the best at this sort of thing getting together, and the result is one of the best honey beers out there, and one of my all time favorites from trve, an instant classic! its pale straw color from the tap, very light and with a creamy looking haziness to it and a short but dense and lasting white head. the aroma is awesome, really honey forward, whole comb, waxy and sweet and natural with a cool floral aspect, clover and blossoms and springtime. there is the classic trve mixed fermentation funk too, wild and bretty, mature and a little bit tart, some new oak character there with the honey, light vanilla and tannins to it, not sure this is actually oak aged, but it has some of that maturity and unity with the yeast. the flavor is as good as the nose, i cant believe its as dry as it is yet its so packed with honey character, cool they used some from both missouri and colorado. to me its not sweet at all but the honey flavor is there, light citrus, whipped gooey honey, dried flower and tea, its incredible, awesome with the wild yeast too, seems like this could naturally occur in nature or something, its unforced and allows the goodness of the ingredients to drive the beer. some of the finest honey beer i have ever had, wonderful wild character, pure and simple and earthy and amazing. world class, elite level beer. ill be buying more of this!
