this is epic! i love all the trve beers, and their hoppy ones have been getting better and better all the time, but this is next level, the best of their beer in this category so far, hands down. i do not know what the hops are, but rather than trying to pick it apart, i just enjoy the experience as a whole, and its special. a little hazy but not at all sloppy looking, a tall rising white head and pretty lace in its wake, nice carbonation evident, and a crazy aroma of almost candied or concentrated hops, like the hop hash or the lupulin powder people are using these days, that cryo hop thing gives me this note sometimes, although i am not sure what they use, melon, flesh and rind, candied tangerine, honey oil from good sativa, fresh ruby red grapefruit, passion fruit tropicality, and a lemongrassy almost asian fruitiness to it, its immediately complex and attractive, mouthwatering even, with a sort of citrus tang happening in my nose. the flavor is just as good as the nose, not just dry hoppy but there all the way in the taste, concentrated, oily, but delicate and fruity too, summery in its vibe, more melon and tropical fruit, lemon and even lime, balanced by mild dry cerealy grain, but not malty in any meaningful way, dry and bubbly, expansive on the tongue, and with a wonderful residual hop complexion. this is incredibly good modern ipa, one of the best beers on tap in here right now, and something not to miss. they should put this one in their new cans!
