Presentation: 375 mL brown bottle with no dates, served in a Rastal Harmony tumbler.
Appearance: The half finger head goes away fairly quickly and leaves behind some patchy lacing. It's a hazy, bright gold color.
Smell: It's a fresh, citrus aroma of lemon and lime peels with some sweeter, herbal and flowery undertones.
Taste It's a soft, sour, fruity flavor of lemon and green grapes followed by some flowery notes and bready pie crust.
Mouthfeel: It's light, crisp, refreshing and very easy to drink with a medium to light body and medium carbonation.
Overall: A soft, easy to drink beer that's very interesting and not boring at all despite being relatively simple.

another incredible funky beer from these guys, definitely have risen to the top of the colorado brewery list for me. the art on this one is really cool, and so is the recipe. brewed with jasmine and sakura, which i had to look up to learn it means cherry blossom. its delicate and floral for sure, more spring than winter to my sense, and with the familiar trve funk blend, bretty with a musty funk and some stone fruit character, and just a little bit of clean tartness. mild and very drinkable, interesting in flavor, the jasmine is bright and natural and is highly complimentary to the yeasts. the cherry blossom element seems lighter to me, less obvious, but its also much less familiar. i can appreciate a light honey sort of sweetness and maybe the faintest red berry note before the acidity kicks in. so much happens as this warms up, high mineral white wine comes out, a springtime dandelion element, green tea, its complex and awesome, but its always light and drinkable, refreshing even with all the carbonation, just a lot going on in a really subtle way, if that makes sense. expertly built and refined, another cool beer from trve in this style, this one done in collaboration with breakside. one of my favorite beers from these guys to date!
