Fine looking pale yellow body, slightly hazy; thin yet creamy head; rings of lacing inside the glass. Strong and beautiful lemon and lime aroma; sweet and tart. The taste follows along the lines of the aroma; delicate citrus notes with a juicy tanginess. The mouthfeel is medium-light; tart and acidic with a dry edge to things.

This beer exemplifies the delightfulness and quality that most TRVE mixed culture beers provide. Light and refreshing and a fine warm weather beer. The fact that this is a collaborative effort with a Florida brewery and still meets TRVE's high quality standards is just another plus...

another mixed culture pale beer from these guys, this one with orange peel and citra, perfect as the weather starts to tease spring a little bit, and done in collaboration with the acclaimed civil society. beautiful from the tap with almost as much white head as hazy straw colored beer in the glass, really alive and fizzy. the orange peel is really fragrant on this, oily and juicy and the right amount of bitter, fresh and natural as can be, and very agreeable with the tartness in the base beer, the acidity matches well. the citra hops are pretty boldly dosed, but are behind the citrus to me in the aroma. in the flavor, the hops are really complimentary, notes of pineapple and meyer lemon meet the orange beautifully, while the familiar trve bretty funk really seems well established here. the whole thing is delicate, but its also very distinctive, wheaty and soft in feel, amazingly well carbonated, and with the orange essence lingering with the sourness. fresh tasting and refreshing, very drinkable for a wild type beer, and i think the citra hops are a perfect selection. overall another killer beer from these guys, the prices of their stuff seem to be creeping up a little bit, but i havent been disappointed yet...
