L - Frothy murky, unfiltered, not Tree House density mind you; more of an opaque unfiltered look. Yellow-ish. Interesting. Decent head, modest lacing (not surprising given the 5.5%)
S - Fantastic citric/hop/forest pine aroma on this, reminds me a tad of HA Bodem on the nose.
T - How do they do it? 5.5 and tastes like something: a fine balance of coarse hops, smoothness, good pine-citric bite without that strange bloaty-float characteristic of some NEIPA turbid haze-bruh mixes. This is dynamite in the mouth, folks.
F - Great carbonation, more hop than malt, but with enough heft in the background you feel like there are grains and grist on offer. Love this; palate saturation, good "aaaah" reaction to the bite, but without feeling it on the ABV. Genius.
O - Love this beer, but is it better than Show No Mercy (IPA)? Time for a side-by-side taste test. SOON.

Can. TRVE represent a marriage of two things I love. Metal & Brewskis. Ageless Fire is a hommage to the excellent Vanum album of the same name. They must be huge Vanum fans (like I) because their excellent beer named Burning Arrow was a similar hommage to Vanum's previous output. This is Nerdception; a nerdity within a nerdity. Anyway, this beer pours cloudy but it isn't your standard turbid haze bomb. The body is a glowing blonde. Looks like something Maine Beer Co. would create. Aroma jumps out of the can. Fruity but still smells like hops- not just a muddled fruitiness. Grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, a little dried mango. Flavor pops. Like it really zaps the palate upon first sip. Ageless Fire is an apt name because the flavors - like fire - are bright and intense. Lots of the same hops I described being in the nose return. They're backed by a bubblegum hop flavor as well. The malt is merely a cushion here. A really nice change of pace from the mop-water-hop-water beers that dominate now. This one burns bright, steadfast, proud, and eager. Another strong beer from this brewery.

Turbid, dirty yellow body with a thick, frothy and sticky white head. Freshly cut citrus aroma; tangerine; white grapefruit; pineapple. Excellent taste; mild malt base with a balanced citrus and acidic presence; a bit lemony; low-key cereal sweetness; fine hop bitterness undercurrent. Medium body; sharp and tangy; dry overall.
This is a nice, easily approachable cloudy IPA, not overpowering with anything and delivering a nice, gently sweet and sour IPA experience.

Another beer from the May 2019 Denver trip. Had this at the source on tap. Similar to others darker yellow color with 1/4" white head and murk music appearance. Aroma evokes Citra immediately. A bit of tangerine to match with your pink grapefruit sir neckbeard?
Taste came in sweeter than your average ipa. Its been awhile since I said this, but it creates an approach to the land of balance. El Dorado appears to be the bittering hop, which seems to be a minority usage, or maybe this is zero boil hops kind of beer? Thought its use of hallertau blanc had to be the thing that pushed the white grape notes around.
Mouth feel was fine, seemed like in a can format there could be a lot of trub, lower carbonation, soft flaked wheat kind of body. Good use of a below average abv to allow some of the more unique hop blanc notes to feel like the beer takes on some different dimensions in terms of the hop notes giving off tangerine and grapes.

a new east coast style ipa, delicious, one of their best hoppy beers to date even, and further proof that these guys really can do everything very well. its not as thick and hazy as so many, just a soft uniform cloudiness to it, still bright in the glass, pale straw colored and holding a nice inch of head on it, airy and white. aroma is ripe peach, pineapple, and sliced citrus, some southern hemisphere hops seem evident here, but i cant quite place the varietals. there is a freshness to the taste that really stands out, almost a grassy vibe, its really forward and gives this one a springtime vibe to me. notes of pineapple and stone fruit up front, white wine on the back end, with a clean fermentation profile, very dry, almost flavorless in that way, not as complex then as many of their beers, but i like the drinkability and the perceived lightness of the whole thing, it makes sense this time of year in both flavor and feel, and i think they have a winner here. i dont know if they have plans to can it, but id buy it for sure if they did!
