Nice golden hue to the body; clear but perhaps a bit unfiltered; lively, coarse carbonation; decent head, white and spongy, long lasting, rings and flecks of foam decorate the glass. Very pleasant aroma; lightly toasted malt, cracker-like; robust hop bitterness; green pepper flavor (without the chili pepper heat); white-grape like (kind of like Nelson Sauvin). Medium body; soft and velvety; the hops add a slight dryness to the feel.

TRVE has been putting out some real nice India pale ales of late, not the hazy kind yet not exactly west coast style either. I don't get much melon or citrus or berry notes with the hops. I sense a kinship with Nelson Sauvin but also earthy herbs such as sage and thyme. Anyway, I'm enjoying this regionally crafted IPA quite a bit.
