Pours a clear, light gold color; dense, slow-rising carbonation; thick, long-lasting head, white and dense; sculpted and rocky appearance. Sublime light fruit and subtle floral scent. Somewhat lightweight flavor yet balanced and with character; light fruity esters; berries; very low-key hop bitterness yet it nicely complements the delicate malt and hop flavors; a bit of citrus quality shows up as the beer warms. Medium body; crisp; slightly prickly on the palate; light dryness offsetting the gentle and soft residual sugar presence.
All in all, this India pale ale exudes a subtle quietude that gently builds complexity. In the final analysis, its a finely balanced beer, crushable, and a fine hot weather beverage.
