Pours a clear, golden color; excellent carbonation density, fast and lively; thick, frothy head, white and lasting. Very nice nose; floral and tropical fruit notes; berries and musk melon; light honey element. Lightly sweet flavor; tropical fruit primarily; a modicum of hop bitterness; a light, zesty spicy undercurrent. Medium bodied; crisp with a prickly overtone; deft touch of residual sugar feel offset with a light dryness.
TRVE has their west coast style India pale ale game dialed in. I don't know how many offerings they've presented over the past two or three years (more actually, but they've been putting out a lot of new ones of late), but I've yet to encounter a dud. This particular offering is one of the best. It delivers across the sensory board, has great flavor and aroma, and drinks like a charm.
ABV: 7%; pouring temperature: 47 °F: canning info: 03/13/24
Source: local purchase (Coaltrain Fine Wine, Craft Beer & Spirits)
