Picked up a single from the Hop Spot at Hot Spot cooler on Brevard Road on 11-26-24 for $3.39. No canning date; consumed 12-2-24.
Beer poured amber with a nice off-white head with the original pour.
Nose is okay, getting some toasted malts and noble hops.
Taste kind of falls flat as the toasted malts don't pop but are kind of more amber lagerish. Hopping kind of lacks to as this finishes a touch too sweet for the style.
Mouthfeel is pretty good as it comes across refreshing.
Overall, not a bad brew but a bit disappointing.

. 5 liter draft pour at the Ashville location. Bright dark amber. Aroma is toasted malt. Taste is more of the same with nutty, toasty notes and herbal hop flavor. Moderate bitterness, slightly more than the style would call for. Cleanly lagered with average carbonation. Overall, good Märzen.
