Balanced with pale malt and hopped every 10 minutes for an hour. Hop lovers crave Cascade, Columbus and Centennial hops. This beer is assertively hopped with all three.

Had on-tap at the brewpub in Columbus, IN. Poured into a pint glass.
L: Semi-opaque golden amber pour. 2 fingers of foamy white head. Solid lacing.
T/F: Caramel malts lend some sweetness. Bready... reasonably bitter. Hops tend towards the pine and citrus rind. A bit of peppercorn and spice. Medium in body.
O: A pretty average IPA. No bad flavors, but nothing terribly exciting either. One I'd have again but wouldn't seek out.

12 oz. bottle into an IPA glass
A - Beer pours a hazy dark amber color with high carbonation visible rising quickly towards the surface. Head is off white in color with a slight orange tint and 2 fingers high. Head is very frothy, like milk froth, and dissipates rather slowly to a fluffy pillow like head 1/2 finger in height. 3.75/5
S - Aroma is dominated by a combination of pine and citrus hops. The citrus note leans toward grapefruit, not citrus peel. There is also a light malty undertone that comes across as slightly buttery. 4/5
T - Sweet honey note right up front transitions to a bit of buttered white bread. Light caramelization to the malt. The malt is fairly quickly overwhelmed by the hops. The hop profile takes over starting in the middle of the tasting with grapefruit and citrus peel and then transitions to a pine resin finish. Pine resin bitterness lingers for quite some time but is not so bitter as to be unpleasant. 3.75/5
M - Not as carbonated as expected based on the appearance. Carbonation comes across as more of a tickle than a true burn. Beer is medium bodied with a crisp feel to it. Not as light as a session IPA but not as heavy as more robust IPAs either. 4/5
O - Well balanced IPA between the sweet up front malt and the bitter hop second half. This beer really strikes a nice middle between being a sessionable IPA and a heavy IPA which leads to this being a very versatile IPA in terms of drinking styles. Enough hops to please the IPA lovers but also sweet enough to please those who prefer lighter IPAs. 3.75/5
