An increased hop bitterness backed up with full malt flavor. Dry hopped with west coast style citrusy hops, creating a hop lover’s alternate to the IPA.

A - Very cloudy. Orangey amber in color. 2 finger head that dissipates very slowly.
S - Nice and citrusy. Grapefruit with a hint of sweet malt.
T - Citrusy when it first hits the tongue, transitioning to a sweet malty flavor. A bit of pine on the back of the tongue. Not much aftertaste. Malt comes out more in the 2nd pint. Not extremely hopped.
M - Very clean. Aftertaste does not linger.
O - Drinkability is very good, especially with food. Should not be as cloudy as it was. Unsure where the cloudiness came from since it did not clear up as the temperature rose.

Sampled 10 brews at ZwanzigZ, this is the one that struck my palate perfectly. Brought home a growler. Reviewing based off a growler poured into a Spiegelau glass.
A: Bright golden, pours with 3 fingers of bright white head that reduces slowly and leaves a little lacing.
S: Strong aroma of citrus, with a hefty compliment of a malt backbone. A little bit of pine to balance it out. Nicely done.
T: Citrusy up front and a complimentary sweet after taste. The growler pour doesn't provide near the potent punch that I remember from the brewery, but this is really good!
M: Very smooth, carbed well, but clearly not built for a Spiegelau glass - at least from a growler. It lost plenty of zing from sampler to growler.
O: The sampler I had at ZwanzigZ was super dank and potent with hops, but the growler did not capture as much of the goodness that I hoped it would. It's a bittersweet bummer, because I would put the 5 oz sampler side by side with any IPA and be happy either way, but the growler just didn't bring it. Of you're ever in Columbus Indiana, the Columbus APA is a must try at the brewub.
