Had this at a restaurant dinner in Te Anau, poured out of a bottle into a shaker. This is very much in the English style, and I found it to be a welcome break from some of the bigger more fruity/citrus hop-bombs that a lot of NZ breweries are doing. Earl grey tea, biscuit and toast, a little marmalade, earthy and herbal hops, all done very well...very smooth and not heavy, but still a nice depth of flavor. I really enjoyed this one.

Pours a deep and bright gold color with a nice white head.
Aromas are earthy, with some brewed tea, and biscuit notes.
Taste is very similar to the nose. Light brewed tea, caramel malts, sweet bread dough, and biscuits. Finish is earthy and dry. A nice simple but tasty British style Pale Ale.
Mouthfeel is full and smooth, nicely carbonated.
Overall, a solid take on the style, quite drinkable, with enough flavor to keep this one interesting.

This beer pours a pale bronze colour with nice carbonation which leaves a one finger head that dissapates into islands of cloudy swirls of head,it has some beautiful fruity hoppy aromas like a fruitcake made with hops,it has a nice mouthfeel which tastes quite fruity and finishes nice and bitter, quite a nice beer.

330ml bottle into my mug. The freshness date says I have another month to wait before it goes Flat Stanley on me, pardon the joke.
Appearance- A standard 1st glance of a medium golden yellow body. An average head with decent head retention and no lacing.
Smell-A real burst of ripe sweet fruits (melon, cantolope) and fresh cut greenery- ie- no piney/resin or citrus notes.
Taste- A malt driven pale ale without a real dose of hops. The two halves meld together well but not really memorable.
Mouthfeel-A nice sparkling medium body with the carbonation.
Drinkability- A fair EPA for New Zealand, pretty solid average standing.

A - Mid golden colour with a 1.5cm white head that falls away fairly quickly.
S - Herbal, grassy aromas, a touch of toffee and a buttery hint.
T - Herbal and vauge fruitiness in the taste along with a sweetish light toffee touch.
M - Light side of medium bodied. OK carbonation.
D - An OK beer but all in all a pretty uninspiring beer.

A: Clear plae bronze-orange. Small puffy off-white head. Lots of lacing. Small amount of carbonation
S: Nice big herbal hops and toasted malt aroma. Grapefruit & white grape akin to a chardonnay as well.
T: Sweet grape and sweeter malt at first quickly replaced by big butterscotch malt. Hops through the middle on. Very dry finish.
M: Med-bodied. Little flat.
D: Another nice and intriguing session beer from Invecargill.

Another pleasant beer from Invercargill. Peachy gold body with a small, but persistent, off-white head. Buttery toast malt aromas, toffee, backed by a solid hop nose. Taste is similar with butterscotch malt, bread, and herbal bitter hops balancing things out. Medium bodied, with nice, soft carbonation. Good session ale.
