Brewed at Steel City brw.
1pt bottle. Pint glass. Enjoyed on feb´12. Very dark copper in color, deep ruby to the light. Beige, creamy, small bubble crown. Very good retention. Herbal, roasted malts,pine,caramel malts & hints of cocoa to the nose. Roasted malty upfront, licorice hues. Sharp bitterness. Thankfully malty palate balances flavors. Flavorfull body, moderate carbonation. Slightly nutty cocoa finish. Gentle astringency. Dry piney, resiny hoppy aftertaste,. Very refreshing. Unfortunately it has been a 350 bottle ltd. ed.
