Fairly clear ruddy copper with three plus fingers khaki whipped cream. Settles down to a finger and a half with tons of cloud-like lacing. Aroma is of musky hops with some mint, some weed and some earthy black tea or coffee aroma; a teeny bit lacquer-like as it warms, though. The flavor is a more laid back version of that. Sharp herbal hop bitterness with some astringence, earthy coffee sharpness and a biggish toasted malt body underneath it all. Lots of carbonation with a lingering dry finish and medium body. I would have it again if offered to me.

L- Dull orange body with a big foamy white head. Medium retention, leaves a nice crown of foam all throughout.
S- Floral hops transitions into a touch of roasted grains and coffee. Both aromas mix sometimes into a maple candy aroma.
T- Piney hops dominate the palate with a good sweet malt backbone. The aftertaste comes out with a good coffee finish.
F- Medium, rich.
O- Very nice brew, a coffee ipa worth having more times.
