Copenhagen 13/10 2019. 35,5 cl bottle from Høkeren. Black label with white and brown writing with different versions of Scotch in several versions. I think the point is that they really like Scotch. The Whisky or the people.
Pours murky dark brown with red hue. Sediments whirling about. Small off-white head. settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, sweet and salty at the same time and with a lightly peaty touch. Caramel, toffee meeting sea salt. Light smoky notes.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily texture.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by a more moderate bitterness with a light dose of saltiness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a touch of smoke. Lingering.
Not exactly a pleasant drink. But interesting and annoying ain't such a bad thing.
