Copenhagen 27/8 2023. 47,3 can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Black can with a white path with golden footprints from some kind of bird. This is the slightly stronger 2021 edition (8,0 in ABV).
Pours slightly unclear amber with a red hue and a small white head. Settles as a thin - almost transparent - layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, sugary, burnt odor. Toffee, caramel and burnt brown sugar. Hints of sour milk and citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sugary with a sourish undertone. Finish is sweet toffee with a touch of alcohol.
Quite sugary and quite flat.
