American Brown Ale. An American interpretation of the classic English ale. Various malts lend it a caramel flavor with hints of chocolate. This version has significantly more hops than the English version, giving it citrus aromas and flavors.

Copenhagen 23/4 2017. 35,5 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Very simple label telling me this is a Cerveza Brown. And the little characteristic Owl.
Very gushy upon opening making a mess on my kitchen table. Pours hazy maroon brown with very big off-white head. Settles as 2 cm thick very creamy layer of foam. Heavy lacing.
Aroma is intense and of caramel, nuts, butter, sweet fruit and a little smoky.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick texture.
Flavor is rather sweet followed by a medium bitterness. Aftertaste is fairly bitter with sweet notes.
A little too sweet for my taste buds - but solid American inspired Brown Ale.
