Appearance: From a green glass bottle with a simple label. Crystal clear golden color. Some airy white foam that goes away in a few seconds, leaving only a ring and some surface bubbles.
Aroma: Weak. Light grains.
Taste: Most noticeable is the skunk that is expected from a green bottle. Also some corn and unroasted barley. A little bit of a metallic tinge.
Feel: Light with good carbonation.
Overall: It's what you'd expect from a green-bottle lager that is purchased exclusively in a tiny town made famous for being overrun with tourists.
Pairing: Anything you would normally pair a mediocre helles lager with. Don't get fancy because the food will have to mask the skunky notes. If you're drinking this, you're probably in Hallstatt, and none of the restaurants are very good anyway. Go to the bakery and grab one of their tomato, mozzarella, and pesto sandwiches. Or anything with a light meat and a tangy sauce.
