Pours a deep mahogany coloration with a medium, fizzy head. Smells of bready malt and dark fruit: fig, raisin, with a light honey sweetness. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by doughy, bready and lightly toasted malt and dark fruit: fig, raisin. Light notes of honey, grains and grass coming through as well. Finishes with a light, herbaceous bitterness and some honey sweetness coming through in the aftertaste. Slightly watery mouthfeel, with a medium body and carbonation.
Nothing spectacular, but a pretty nice Bock, actually. Mouthfeel could be richer, but a very nice malt/hop balance.

A: Pours clear copper under a massive beige compact and creamy head, that slowly dissipates into rich, rich lacings.
S: Dark dried fruits. Roasted malts, bready. Bitter hops - nettles and grass. Citric, but faint. A bit mild.
T: Roasted sweet malt, honey-like. Lots of dark dried fruits together with bitter hops. Some nettles, still. Bitter hops.
M: Aftertaste holds both roast and bitterness, and stays for some time. Body is full and carbonation is low - very smooth!
O: This is nice Bock - maybe it's the origin for a new style - Dunkel Bock?
