L - pours a mostly clear aging golden yellow. Lots of nucleation. Thick frothy head.
S - lemon and grapefruit. Slight mango candy, but it's fleeting. Definitely some sweetness. Almost marshmallowy. Maybe a bit of cardboard.
T - sweeter than I imagined, but with a crisp, hoppy bite. Minty mango and grapefruit. Flavors are a bit unrefined and a touch muted. Touch of honey. Bit of an acrid malty bite toward the finish.
F - fluffy, but a tad overcarbed. Not much, but kinda like sleeping on a feather pillow. Feels great until you're poked in the eye.
O - not as bad as the rating would suggest. People just love to hate on Relic. It's a bit boozy and malty and unbalanced for what it is, but it has unique and purposeful flavors.

Pours a one finger cream head that stays forever leaving a good lace. Hazy pale amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Almost sweet grapefruit nose, flavor is grapefruit/orange rind bitterness with hints of caramel. $3.60 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, MA.

This is in no way a double IPA. Maybe a strong ale. If you like IPAs. Don't buy this one

Alcohol is hidden well behind a melange of citrusy (but not lemony) flavored. Extremely mild bitterness. Can pound a bunch.
