Brewed with Equinox and Denali hops; very tropical guava with touch of dank.

This beer is terrible (pint cans). I don't like anything from Relic, apparently. All I taste is malt and booze. Had to dump them, couldn't even finish a can. Absolutely terrible.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into an IPA glass. Medium yellow body with some haze, nice white head with good lacing. Aroma is citrusy, as expected. First taste has a bit of a grassy taste that is quickly followed with the citrusy hops flavor, and a clean bitter bite to finish up. The 8% abv is noticed but not obtrusive. This beer was contract brewed at Hooker; I guess their own brewery was maxed out. Blind Knife Fight DIPA is another fine example of Relic's craft.

On tap at @ the Corner.
A lightly hazy orange-yellow with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks great. The nose is dominated by tropical fruit hops - guava, mango, pineapple and plenty of citrus are noticeable. Malt character is mild, though the alcohol is surprisingly noticeable. The palate opens with plenty of hop juice - orange, pineapple, guava and even some nectarine are present. However, the alcohol does add a bit of a harsh astringency to the mid-palate and finish, which detracts from the enjoyability. Sweetness is mild. Still, this is very solid.

12oz can. Pours a hazy pale orange with 2 inches of head. Good amount of lacing. Sweet citrus aroma. Tangerine, lemon, grapefruit and pineapple. The taste is grapefruit, pineapple, orange, tangerine and lemon. Pineapple and lemon finish. Maybe a hint of pine. Soft mouthfeel with lots of carbonation. Pretty solid all around.

L - has a pleasant tangerine glow. Huge fluffy head.
S - upfront is booze and acetone but it quickly mellows or into sweet juicy nectarine and orange cream. Subtle and smooth.
T - mixture of lemon, pineapple, and orange. Doesn't key in terribly hard on any flavor in particular, but it's a nice hybrid candied citrus maltiness with a touch of vanilla. Finishes smooth with subtle toasted orange. Not much aftertaste.
F - medium body and low on carb, but still has a nice "fullness".
O - another solid IPA from Relic. Nice amount of candied sweetness among with a healthy West Coast vibe.
