Deep amber colored. Soft delicate head
Nose is sweet malt sugar, hoppy bitterness. Bready. Caramel, brown sugar.
Taste follows. Clean initially then sharp with a moderate bitterness. A good bit of caramalt and sweet fruit flavor but quite true to a märzen/wiesn blend.
Finish is short but appropriate. Very tasty.

Singe can from a trade with sulldaddy
Clear pale amber color with a bubbly thick off white head, good retention.
Aroma has notes of bready malt and I get a bit of boozy smell.
Taste has dominant malts but not overpowering. Slight sweetness and a hint of hop bitterness.
Would have it again any day, thanks for the experience!

Sampling a. Cold 16 oz can poured ibto my .5L dimple mug.
The beer pours a clear copper to chestnut color with a creamy beige head of 1 cm. This foam fades to a thin edge layer after the pour.
The aroma is light bready notes and some grain mixed with mild caramel. Definitely not a sweet nose, but is malt dominant. Not really any hop nose that I pick up.
First sip reveals a medium body with fine and tingly carbonation. Texture is smooth and drinks easy.
Flavor is some toasted grain and a little nutty character as well. A little bit of sweetness too. I actually get a little more toffee or werthers than caramel. A slight buttery note, maybe diacetyl. But it isnt bad nor bold enough to distract.
A little bit of bitey hops that linger, but no ABV on this drinkable beer. A good marzen and enjoayble example. Glad to have tried this one.

A very respectable American marzen. A refreshing mineral water characteristic gives it nice drinkability.

American brewers are continuously brewing top shelf lagers.
Golden with a 4F head In a Brooklyn Oktoberfest glass.
Very smooth MF.
Lots of fruit esters in the taste.
No bitterness. Very smooth finish.
Worth checking out.

16oz Can
Big ol' thanks to Patrick for this guy! Relic's Oktoberfest is a good looking beer, bright and and a little murky throughout. The foam was slow to form and raising the can produced a roiling, menacing, lively dirty white head a finger in height. The foam died rather quickly to a skim coat and leaves behind thin drink lines as I...drink. Small bubbles rush in streams to the surface.
This guys sports a nicely toasted white bread aroma with a drizzle of honey and a floral hoppiness. It's a little doughy around the edges, cookie dough actually. Softly sweet malt lends a counterpoint to a soft spice in the hop profile. This beer has zero edges.
As this warms it opens up a bit more. The malt profile expands. The floral hoppiness becomes more pronounced. The breadiness is deeper and a touch sweeter than the nose led on. A drizzle of caramel brings some more depth. There's a soft toast character but it's minimal. The floral hop character starts off early and pushes through to the finish where it's joined by a bit of spice. Again, this beer has no edges.
The body has a little weight, it sits about moderate, but the lively carbonation makes it feel a bit lighter. When I say "lively carbonation" I mean, a little over bubbly. It's a little prickly in the back. This is a minor gripe, it's just a hair off. A mild bitterness cleans up the malt sweetness on the finish and it dries up fairly quickly. It's an easy drinking beer for sure.
This is a good beer from Relic. It's well rounded with a nice complexity. It's not as refined as some of the best examples out there but it's an enjoyable, good drinkin' beer that I would happily guzzle by the litre. Thanks again, Patrick!

Big thanks to Patrick for this one.
Relic's Fall Season Lager pours a beautiful shade of amber. Crystal clear with highlights of gold and copper, this thing shines. A wispy and barely offwhite foam rests above, and descends into just a ring around the perimeter of this maßkrug, with small scattered bubbles on the surface and minimal lacing.
A very toasty aroma with spices and sweet breads underneath. Malt forward with some caramel leading the way, nutmeg close behind. An unusual mild brine like salinity seems to creep in just a bit. No I haven't been drinking today... Ok, maybe a little.
I can't deny I taste something unique along those lines, but it's very well masked. A well toasted white bread crust is the biggest influence here, with sprinkles of nutmeg and cinnamon spices, and just a drizzle of caramel.
The feel is very nice. Toasty malts lend a sweetness while spices bring it closer to balanced. It finishes dry thanks to a sharp carbonation, which demands sip after sip to be drawn.
This will do. It hits all the right notes of an Oktoberfest while having a few twists thrown in.
Thanks again Patrick. A pleasure to drink. Prost!

Shimmering, vibrant orange amber body. Clears as it settles. 1 finger of foamy off white head.
Bready, toasty and sweet aroma. Closer to honey than caramel. Hints of earthy and floral hops.
Taste follows the nose. Toasty and crusty with more of the caramel sweetness. Hints of nuttiness before the hops show themselves. A bit of spice mixed with the floral hops.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Soft and a bit slick. The beer finishes crisp and grainy.
Probably the best Connecticut brewed Marzen I have had.

12oz can. Pours a dark brownish amber color with over an inch of head. some lacing. Bready aroma with caramel malts, earth, toast, floral hops and some orange peel. The taste is more of the same. Bread crusts, toasted malts, caramel, coriander and floral hops. Grassy/floral finish with some more caramel and a slightly nuttiness. Light body with a bit of an oily mouthfeel.
