16 oz can into IPA glass. Can't read the date.
Look is very nice hazy yellow. Smell is tropical fruit with pineapple notes. Taste follows nose with a little mango note added. Feel is fairly light. Overall a very nice DIPA that stays sweet throughout and hide the ABV well.

L - soft, hazy orange. It's pleasant and comforting in its hue. Pineapple juice.
S - Up front is zesty melon and dank pineapple, then quickly turns to honey and a familiar orangey oniony nose. Sharp and focused, getting hints of pixy stix dust here...
T - sweet and candy-inspired. Peach rings and dried mangos. Continues with the aggressively laser-sharp tropical flavors and a hint of grass on the finish. Raspberry honey sweetness and a little bit of orange tang. Vanilla. Gentle and rowdy at the same time.
F - supple to the tongue with a nice creamy viscosity.
O - this one tends to the sweeter side of things and the scales often tip drastically and erratically between sweet candy and dank zestiness. Always keeps you on your toes.

Sampling a cellar temp 12 oz can poured into my snifter. Picked it up at the brewery earlier this summer.
The beer pours a cloudy, hazy orange to golden color with a fluffy dense eggshell white head of 3 cm. The foam fades gradually to a sturdy edge layer soon after my first sips. There is also one large island of bubbles in the center of my glass.
The aroma is citrusy with orange creamsicle notes and some mango hits and a bit of peach too. the nose is pleasant and kind of mild for a bigger beer.
the first sip reveals an average body with creamy texture and very fine tingly carbonation. Easy drinking physical traits on this beer.
The flavor is a bit of grainy caramel malt and then citrusy and fruity hops take over. Lots of orange notes and mango and peach too. Pretty fruity flavor profile and then the beer dries out and leaves a little bit of pithy rind bite on the swallow. The flavor doesnt stick around too long but I enjoy this DIPA and Im glad to have had a chance to sample this one. I think Relic is definitely an underrated IPA brewery here in CT.
