Simcoe and Galena hops give this one a wonderful tropical orange with a kiss of malt.

NOT A NE IPA but, a really good middle of the road flagship ipa.

A: Pours a murky medium to dark golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate burnt orange + medium golden yellow + bright yellow + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/orange, citrus/orange marmalade, tropical/mango, and tropical/guava hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + caramel + honey malts with a moderate amount of caramel + honey sweetness and a light amount of alcohol.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + caramel + honey malts with a moderate amount of caramel + honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/orange, citrus/orange marmalade, tropical/mango, and tropical/guava hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering medium sweet orange marmalade hop flavors. Light hints of alcohol in the finish.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly fluffy mid-body with a slightly heavier than light amount of alcohol warming in the finish.
O: Not the easiest drinker with the alcohol being quite noticeable until the beer warms up and the alcohol presence fades a bit. Really nice orange citrus + tropical flavors. Enjoyable and one I would get again.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color and has some hues of amber. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lacing on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of orange marmalade are present in the nose along with hints of alcohol.
T: The taste follows the smell, having light to moderate flavors of orange marmalade along with notes of alcohol, the latter of which linger into the finish. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible. As the beer warms up, the alcohol subsides and notes of watermelon become noticeable.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: You need to let this IPA warm up a bit to let the flavors develop and the alcohol to fade away, when it becomes enjoyable and also rather drinkable considering its strength.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed golden pour with 2 fingers of foamy white head. Leaves nice sticky lacing.
S: Tropical and fruity. Pineapple, mango, and citrus.
T/F: Light malts.. juicy hops. A bit of a juice bomb, with strong tropical mango, guava, and pineapple. Lighter tangerine/citrus. Sticky on the tongue with modest bitterness. Medium to light bodied.
O: A pretty standard tropical NEIPA juice bomb. Great flavor and easy drinkability.

L - golden fiery tangerine orange. Slight haze, slight translucence. Fluffy white head.
S - lemon, apricot, and sugary malts. There's a clinical plasticity to it. Vaguely Belgian.
T - lots of interesting flavors going on here. Honey, berries, and tart oat. Milky lemon sweetness in the middle. The finish has faint twangs of bubblegum, watermelon, and strawberry. Fruity is right, but everything is restrained and coated with a thick layer of relic sugar that lingers on the end.
F - spicy and pokey up front, but thickens up in the middle with a fantastically creamy silkiness.
O - at first, I wasn't so sure of this one, but as the beer had time to sit in my mouth, the fruity flavors started to come out more, and while they aren't particularly potent, they are varied and interesting.

16oz can. Pours a slightly hazy golden brown with a thin layer of head. Lots of lacing. Aromas of peach, melon, honey, pine and bread crust. The taste is honey, pine and bread crusts followed by the fruity flavors. Peach, melon, orange and a hint of berries. Creamy mouthfeel with a medium body. Fair amount of alcohol heat with a slightly oily mouthfeel.
