Poured from a 12 ounce can into an IPA style glass. Nice thick head, off white, with decent staying power and lacing. This beer is described as fruity and floral on the label, and it does a good job living up to the billing. The aroma was floral, the first sip definitely had fruitiness to it. The combination was pleasant and masked the imperial aspect of an 8% abv. I generally find most Relic beers good drinking, and this is no exception.

This is as advertised with a nice hoppy bite with floral tasted. I would have rated this better but didn’t taste many citrusy notes.

Pours a slightly muddy gold. Finely bubbled head. Aroma is floral, rose. Alcohol or medicinal tinged. Flavor is not too fruity, more floral (not that ive really ever eaten flowers) but it tastes like it smells. Some alcohol sharpness. sort of mouth smackingly dry all the way through with some tongue tingling carbonation. Feels lighter, easier drinking than a typical 8% abv beer....Again, Relic has made a “dangerous” beer. Sip slowly! It is not in anyway over the top flavor wise, somewhat nuanced and subtle. Not a lot of hop funk here. No pine, no resin, no dank. Not really fruity either, despite that descriptor being mentioned on the can. Overall it feels somewhat champagne-like (if champagne actually tasted good, that is) but the body gives it a very familiar feeling that, to me, shoots right down the middle and leaves nothing to be desired. Another fine beer from a fine brewery.
