Points to the Whim for being a hazy IPA with both an affordable budget ($11 for 64 oz.) and for not blasting the drinker with a high alcohol volume and too much of that corn flake cereal taste. For those reasons, it comes across as lighter and more digestible. While it is not a sessionable ale by any means, it doesn't leave me lurching.

Stratified turbid appearance. Smell is vaguely citrusy but mostly yeasty must. Tastes of little more than rind, maybe even a touch of sulphur. Finishes very dry but not nearly enough early boil bittering or malt presence. Very astringent, shockingly so, and a lingering floral aftertaste.
Overall this is a very unpleasant beer, one that shouldn't have left the brewery. This is a drain pour, all four cans.

This is a disappointing relic offering. There is a marked difference in quality between cans currently being produced at the hooker plant and the cans/draft available and brewed at Relic’s own brewery. There is an almost antiseptic ointment element here. Its got some floral mingling with the mild bitter but it just doesn’t taste that good.

Very good. Maybe a touch on the bland side? Nice and predictable, would definitely drink it again.
