Sampling this beer from a 16 oz can, poured cold into my .5L dimple mug. the beer pours a mostly clear golden hue with fizzy bleached white head of 1 cm foaming up and fading to a thin edge layer soon after. This can got lost in my fridge and is date stamped 5-14-2021. Should still be fine.
Aroma is some sweet grainy malt and a bit of floral hops. A faint bit of spiciness covers the back end of this beer. Overall the beer is pretty mild on the nose, which works for the style.
First sip reveals a light and crisp textured beer with fine tingly carbonation. Flavor is grainy malt and some spicy hop note. The hops linger with a bit of bitterness on the swallow. Finish is also very dry.
This is a drinkable beer that hits the highpoints for a kolsch in my opinion. Pretty good example of the style.
