The first brew of the Village Cooperative Series.
Appearance - Pours a deep gold with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - banana, clove, yeast, spicy hops, light wheat malt aromas, and hint of bubblegum.
Taste - Starts off with the yeast, strong banana flavour, clove followed by the spicy hops and light wheat malts. The hint of bubblegum is there as well but the more pronounced flavours come from the yeast, banana, clove, hops, and malts.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes dry with the spices lingering and a pleasant taste from the banana.
Overall - A well constructed hefe from Village. The flavours work in unison together while having the star ingredients shine. This style is not the easiest to brew but I believe Village has nailed another sessionable summer brew.
