I got a can of this beer from "The Shop" at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Calgary whilst there for work. It poured a golden color with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had piney hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp semi sweet malt base with bold pine resin hints. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Appearance - Pours an amber copper with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus, earthy, leafy, piney, and floral hops, citrus and orange peel, pine resin, grapefruit peel, caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus, earthy, leafy, piney, and floral hops upfront. The brew then goes into the citrus and orange peel, pine resin, grapefruit peel, and caramel. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - An enjoyable American IPA from the folks at Village. This one is definitely one of their better offerings I've sampled in quite some time. They definitely nailed all elements and I like the old timey picture on the can. This one is definitely worth seeking if you come across it.
