A- This is a very chill hazed/yeast suspended light golden/yellow hued color, with hints of orange and lemonade showing through light. The head is super white, starts about two fingers in thickness but does settle fairly fast into a patchy space like silhouette of foam over top the brew itself. The lacing is fairly sticky and clings to the inside of my glass quite well, and the carbonation, well it seems to be modestly aggressive, with several columns rising to the top. Overall it reminds me of a classic lager, but with plenty of haze.
S- Very clean aromas, and the rice addition is very noticeable....floral and fruity nuances are abound here, due to the use of the Jasmine variety....there is some orange and/or citrus aroma present as well, providing quite a unique character on the nasal cavity. The finish is again, clean, and with perhaps just a hint of hop bitterness, but it is not upfront that is for sure.
T- Very mild, but there is a big time floral and mandarin orange flavor overall. This does not have an adjunct flavor but the rice definitely provides some clean, cleansing grain sweetness....there is something about the use of Jasmine that makes this different. The finish is just slightly bitter, leafy and grassy all at the same time. Quite nice!
M/O- This is light in body, perhaps just leaning into medium mouthfeel.....and the carbonation is soft yet plentiful...quite quenching and I like! The alcohol is well hidden, and I wouldn't mind enjoying this more during a session....would be a nice cutter for a spicy dish foodwise. Overall a decent lager and I would have again.....recommend giving it a try!
