Thrilla in Brazilla is gold in color with a tight white head of foam. The fruity-ester aroma is high to very high. Hop aroma is further characterized by high amounts of citrus with a slightly resinous character in the background. The aroma follows through to the taste with citrusy characters dancing on the palette, including the presence of fresh oranges. Thrilla is a medium bodied beer with medium high hop bitterness. As always, this beer is balanced.
We are brewed this American IPA specifically for the 2014 Brazil World Cup. Thrilla in Brazilla will be released June 12,the day of World Cup match 1 between Brazil and Croatia. The beer will initially feature at pubs agreeing to show a match watching party for the opener. We will then release the beer to the rest of the market and it will remain available until July 12, the day of the World Cup final.

Pours a nearly clear orange color with a creamy white head. Beautiful WCIPA. The nose has a nice orange citrus aroma, some resiny pine, and a smidge of caramalt.
The resiny pine is more pronounced on the taste and imparts a nice bitterness that is balanced by the orange flavor and the bit of caramalt.
The mouthfeel is medium and drying. I’d gladly try this again.

Very hazy amber pour (it's not a hazy IPA but it's very cloudy) with a quarter inch head. Aroma has a nice citrus hoppy fruitiness and light caramel malt. Taste is clean and bitter, but not too bitter by any means. Malt provides a good backbone to the flavor as well. Citrus hop taste, as in the nose. Smooth mouthfeel, very drinkable despite the strength.

It’s like a cross between Jai Alai and Racer X. Less citrus, more earth, less overall flavor than those two as well, but still quite balanced and thus very drinkable. Feels medium-bodied and well-carbonated with a nice peppery, burning finish.

16oz can with no date on it, opened 6-21-24. I believe this is typically released in June - so hopefully all good.
2+ finger off white head with extreme retention and sticky, thick lacing. Amber-gold body and basically opaque (due to sediment in the last of the pour).
Orange peel, lemon, and pine mixed with a hint of caramel...appealing aroma.
Citrus, bitter peel and big, piney hops...hefty hop punch with some doughy malt in a pretty big IPA.
Medium + body with a touch of prickly and aggressive hops that linger on the palate. Long finish with a touch of sweetness.
Very Good.

Thrilla pours a slight orange haze color, with a little carbonation and a big beautiful fluffy head. Unfiltered it has some sediment. It's citrus aroma is rather light and pleasant. The taste follows the nose and the citrus comes on strong and the bitterness follows. Grapefruit is strong and piney on the tongue. Has a softer mouthfeel. Nice beer overall. No dates on 16 ounce can.
