Dark amber color with ruby tinting, and a lasting cm of head atop it. Nose offers some nice toasty bread crust notes: solid malt, not too sweet. A little bit more bitter than normal, with some roasted malt that's not really style appropriate but is still tasty. Little hop flavor. Dry finish. Good body that makes pleasant drinking. Decent marzen, though a bit on the dark malt side.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance - The beer is served with a one finger head of foam. The head fades fast leaving a bit of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma of the brew is strongest of a caramel and roasted malt smell mixed with a bit of brown sugar and spice.
Taste - The taste begins with a light roasted malt taste mixed with caramel and brown sugar. Along with these tastes are some flavors of spice and toast. As the taste advances the brown sugar and caramel increase, leaving one with a nice malty Oktoberfest taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is heavier with a carbonation level that is low. Good for the style.
Overall - A nice brew overall. Good flavor and a nice feel.
