Draft at downtown Taproom. Bright golden, small head, but tons of lacing. Light piney aroma, oily. Taste too is some gentle astringent hoppiness, slick, oily feel.

This is my current favorite IPA. In 2022 Seismic posts an alcohol content of 6.6% rather than the 6.2% shown at Beer Advocate. This is an incredibly balanced and smooth IPA, super-clean, tropical and spicy. It’s the spice in the aftertaste that hooked me. The first sip consistently makes me vocalize some sound that essentially says, “damn, that’s a delicious IPA.” Please try it. Look for the orange label. I don’t know why BA doesn’t have the art for this can. It isn’t a seasonal release and it’s been around for a while. Please don’t change the recipe Ascendant. You’ve nailed it. Would love the recipe to be able to brew it at home.

First taste brings hints of mango and pineapple infused with a Simcoe tongue finish! Slightly piney!
Plenty of alcohol at 8.1% you are feeling great after only a few sips.
The mango pineapple Simcoe really works for me. Bittersweet with a drift of pine.
Perfect for summer, winter, mowing the lawn, or really any occasion.
It's not as light thin or a hoppy as some but rather a phenomenal balance of pineapple, mango, Simcoe.
A fabulously complex IPA simple yet profound!

From a 12oz. can purchased at the beer store.
It's been a while since I couldn't smell a beer. I have a questionable sense of smell at times, but I pick up things others don't. This smelled like water when I cracked it. After a couple of sips I can pick up the hops. This is a classic, lower ABV Chinook hop IPA. For some, this would be a session beer. I actually like it in that respect. It's not putting on any pretenses. It's "An IPA". This is a beer that complements a meal rather than being its own experience.

I do all of the beer ordering for a local pizza joint and this beer lives on my tap list. It's delicious.
