On tap @ Bailey's taproom in PDX
Again the first of a style for me; a smoked hefe. This beer had wonderfully integrated light beech or alder smoke flavors that melded with the tropical banana and passionfruit flavors that often accompany the hefe style. a very interesting beer, not perfect but much better than the woods "smoked hefe" would make you think. Good classic, easy drinking, german beer.
