Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance - The beer pours a clear light brown color with a small head of off white foam. The head fades fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is strong of a toasted bread and cocoa smell mixed with some caramel and a good showing of hazelnut. Along with these smells comes a little bit of molasses and some notes of harvest fruit.
Taste - The taste begins with a toasted brown bread taste mixed with some brown sugar and a bit of nut. The nut and roast get stronger all while the sugar sweet lightens. At the same time some cocoa and light earthiness join in, and with some very light pear and char, one is left with a rather pleasant toasted taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is medium with a moderate carbonation level. For the style the feel is nice and makes for a good sipper
Overall - A nice today brew for fall. Worth a try for sure
