Snagged a 1/2 growler for $7 during one of their 3hr Friday releases at the brewery.
The beer pours a clear, light golden yellow with half an inch of a white head that fades quickly. There is a slight snag on the inside of the glass with a 30 degree tilt, but not enough to say the beer properly laces. The nose is predominantly grapefruity with a touch of candied pineapple, white wine grapes, and underlying bite from the ethanol. The nose isn't particularly "dank," but seems to be relatively balanced.
The taste is weaker than expected and drinks more like a pale than an IPA. The mouthfeel is light bodied, attenuated, and leaves a crisp, lingering bitterness after each sip. There is a slight tartness and bite from the ethanol as well.
Frankly, I'd prefer a bit more body and sweetness, but as is, the beer maintains an easy drinkability. I can't say I don't prefer this over Jam#1, but Frank still has this beer beat.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
