Released at the CBW 1 year anniversary, on tap @ Mister Goodbar 4/20/13

The beer pours a tar black with 1/2 an inch of a sticky (and quickly fading) dark tan head. The nose is subtle - whiskey forward, butterscotch, some booze, and a touch of hops. The taste is big and roasty upfront with a bold malty/caramel sweetness and a non-intrusive, lingering bitter booze. Full bodied, rich flavors, well carbonated, spicy, a tad fruity, and very balanced. Wow, this is actually crazy delicious with generous barrel sugars meshing nicely with the stout base and well masked alcohol. I definitely enjoyed the regular version
