Ha, that's too funny. The last reviewer is obviously not familiar with malzbier. It is to beer as root beer is. It is a non-alcoholic (by law under 0.5%) soft drink. Flensburger Malz is the best.

A: Dark brown, semi-opaque, slight cloudy, slight ruby tinge when held to the light, little carbonation, no head.
S: Nothing. A second wiff, some coffee, dark toasted malts, burnt caramel.
T: Diet soda, near beer, aspirtame, artifical sweeter (slightly sweet slightly watery) caramel, toasted malts. Seriously beginning to think it’s a near beer, not getting any alcohol and don’t think it’s a beer.
M: Medium light syrupy body, medium soda like carbonation.
O: Near Beer. If its that, I like it for a near beer, but way too expensive. Like a soda for sure, don’t even bother unless you are looking for this type.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
