11.2 oz flip top bottle in a Willi Becher glass.
Darkish yellow-gold color with a 1F white head that fades to a fat skim, nice lacing. Clear and bubbly.
Floral and pungent spice hops, sweet biscuit malt.
Grains, dry biscuit, floral hops are pilsner-like. Strong lager flavor.
Not light, full bodied for a lager. Dry and bitter. Clean finish with no aftertaste.
Likeable, drinkable throwback.

Copenhagen 26/3 2015. 33 cl bottle with a swing cap from my brother in law visiting Germany. Flensburger's usual label design in silver with their fine logo with a sail ship and a red tower.
Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is malty and little bit sharp. Sweet pale malts and bread. Slightly metallic notes of alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oil, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is a little sharp, metallic and with a sourish bitterness.
Not the best from Flensburger. And not much "Gold" in a ABV on 4,8 %.

Pours a very clear gold, with a foamy white head that settles to a broken ring fairly quickly. Savoury grain on the nose, with some biscuity sweetness. Very balanced on the tongue, some cooked-apple sweetness and a bready bitterness, both very mild, but retaining flavour towards later development, with a sweet finish reminiscent of honey. Very drinkable.

Mild and fresh as advertised. Poured from flip top bottle. Nice clear gold pour, mild to mid carbonation. Not a whole lot on nose, some malt. Sweet and mild in mouth, crisp enough if a tad unbalanced. More sweet than bitter. Decent.

330 ml brown swingtop bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger - for the target group who otherwise would drink Amstel Pulse, Corona or Budweiser. ABV is 4.8%. Very pale yellow colour, large white head. Fairly strong sweetish aroma with grassy notes, hints of artificial candy. Soft and bland flavour, a little malty sweetness, hardly any bitterness at all. No offensive side flavours though, if that can make anyone happy.

300ml snap top bottle into a 12oz glass. Date of 12/3/21. Whether this is European bottled on or American best buy, I can't tell. Could be 7 months old.
Looks very nice in the glass. Clear glassy golden yellow body. Solid white head shrinks to a fat collar and covering. Scattered lacing.
Light aroma, pilsner malts.
On tasting, initially sweet, but then a rather unpleasant dry bitterness fills the mouth.
Mouth medium, finish a lasting off putting bitterness.
Overall, started out okay, but the finish spoiled the entire drink.
