I had this on draught at a beach bar near Neustadt. Style-wise it felt more like a Kellerbier than a pilsner, which is a huge positive for me.
Slightly cloudy on appearance, and obviously unfiltered, the palate was full, dry and slightly rich - probably due to the high strength. It was a maltier style of lager, with the lightest of touch with the hops.
I really enjoyed it. The perfect antidote to the rafts of over-hopped pale beers currently swamping us.

A: Golden, clear, small head which disappeared quickly, didn't leave much lacing.
S: Malt, rubber, grain.
T: Very malt forward, on the sweet side, slight hints of rubber and yeast, just about balanced the sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: As the name suggests, a good beer for the beach, not complicated but went down well despite the relatively high abv.

L:
-pours a cloudy bright golden-orange with a small,frothy,off-white head
-low-to-medium carbonation visible
S:
-grainy,malty,heavy Honey,bready,floral,orange zest
T:
-Follows the Nose
-low-to-medium bitterniss
F:
-medium body
-medium carbonation
-no alcohol noticeable
O:
Weird Beer to pinpoint.Flensburger calls it a "beach Lager" but the Beer is stronger, basically at Festbier strength.
The Beer has a decent Orange-y touch but it's largely drowned out by the sweeter, grainy Malt Base.
