I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright bitter citrus hop presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

12 oz. Can
Canned: 04.16.19
Poured into a Tired Hands glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple), piney. The taste is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple), nice piney. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew.

Original March 14th, 2019 ratings: 3.5 4.25 3.5 3.75 3.5
Fairly clear, golden body; excellent carbonation presence; thick, white head, dense and creamy in texture; thick rings of foam surround the glass interior. Very nice aroma; citrus and fresh peach and pear. Beautiful west coast-style taste, clean and bitter; very mild cereal grain base; notes of pine and citrus hop flavor. Medium body; crisp and biting on the palate; semi-sweet mouthfeel throughout.
I experienced greater eye appeal and taste with this sample. The beer is about 2 1/2 months old, but holds up well with the taste. Nice improvement with the look and mouthfeel, too.
Poured at 52.5 °F; CANNED 06/22/21
---------------------
Dirty haze to the body; thin yet lasting head. Strong aroma of pineapple, orange, and honey dew melon. Light malt base flavor with a strong hop bitterness. Medium body; crisp, dry and prickly on the palate.
Great aroma but with lackluster flavor, this beer does pack a respectable bitterness punch.

L: light golden color
S: hints of banana, dankness
T: fruit forward taste, with dank after bite
F: grippy mouth feel. Attacks the tounge in a good way
Overall: good ipa. I enjoy the darkness of it. The mountain haze is even dankier, but if a good ipa is your thing, this is a good choice

From a 12 oz can (canned December 7, 2017) to a tulip.
A-A slightly aggressive pour produces a nice-sized head of two fingers. The foam is yellowish, off-white, and dense. Retention is good and there is some lacing left behind on the glass. Beneath the head is a murky, but not entirely opaque brew that is brown-hued orange.
S-The flavor is subtle compared to many other new IPAs. I sniff grapefruit, bread dough, some orange, orange peel, and a mildly leafy, woody note. The flavors are pleasant, but not overly unique or impressive.
T-The taste tracks with the smell. There is a higher level of bitterness than most of the juice bombs out these days, but it is not overwhelming. Orange is most noticeable, but there is a good earthy, leafy note too. Some bread crust malts and a little pepper spice, especially on the finish.
M-The feel is medium in heft with a semi-crisp carbonation. The finish is clean and this beer is easy to drink.
O-This beer is mostly middle of the pack, but there is nothing offensive here. It drinks easily and is the type of IPA where you could drink a few in a sitting without getting completely fatigued.

Poured into a snifter. Moderately hazy golden color with a generous and fluffy white head. Bright citrus and grassy notes on the nose. The taste is somewhat different, with less assertive citrus and more pineapple, lemon, and dry, bready malt. A few floral notes. Dry and maybe a bit thin feeling. Overall nice but not a standout.
