375ml bottle sent to me from a friend.
No dating. Served in a nonic pint glass.
Look- Slightly hazy light copper color. Small bright white head that recedes quickly to a thin cap of foam, ample lacing. Heavy carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Green grapes, pear and apple, light malts, yeast, a bit of vanilla and grassy notes.
Taste- White wine, pear and apple juice, vinegar, a little booze and light malts, yeast, a bit of vanilla and grassy notes.
Feel- Medium/light bodied, dry and crisp. Lively carbonation on the tongue.
O- My first offering in this style and it's pretty good. More like champagne than any ale I have had but it's nice.

$ 14.49 (Including shipping)/12.7 oz bottle ($ 1.14/oz) from Tavour, Seattle, WA. Reviewed 5/6/19.
Undated bottle. Stored at 42 degrees and served at 42 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Light yellow, clear.
Body – Gold, very faint haze.
Head – Large (Maximum 4.5 cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density, average retention, diminishing to an irregular five to eight mm crown and a thin partial cap.
Lacing – Good. A three-dimensional ring of very tiny to small bubbles.
Aroma – 3.25 - Faint, vinous, a bit of sulfur. The sulfur rapidly fades to nothing.
Flavor – 3 – Not much, just a thin, weak, white grape juice flavor. Ends bitter. No alcohol (11.5% ABV), no dimethylsulfide, no diacetyl.
Palate – 3.25 – Thin, watery, soft carbonation.
Impression and interpretation – 3.25 – Right off the bat, -0.25 points for being undated. After that, the brew has a very pleasing appearance. The aroma is about what would be expected from a grape-based drink; the terminal sulfur, although very weak, is moderately unpleasant. Fortunately, it doesn’t last long. The alcohol is well hidden, surprising since the flavor is initially quite ephemeral, although, by the end, the grape flavor becomes obnoxiously “in your face”. The palate is entirely too flabby for anything that is “champagne-like”, lacking crispness. Overall, it’s one and done, if I can pawn off the second bottle.
