This was a fascinating one! Midnight black with a brown collar and spotted lacing. The orange bursts through the aromas bouquet of gin, tequila, general booze, lime, subtle earth and dark chocolate, haven't smelled a beer like it. The taste is hot with booze and sharp wood, orange fits right into this surprisingly well, almost with a mint and cola edge to it, roasted malt and earth round into place to stop it from going awry, just wish it was a little less hot. It absolutely should not work, and yet it does. Feel is sharp with the booze but not burning, wood is strong, malt is very solid, some roast percolation, but thins out through the sip. Don't think I could have more than 8 ounces I got given the heat, but it is fascinating

Aged in a mixture of gin, whiskey, tequila, and rum barrels with orange.
Yep, I'm pickin' up what they're puttin' down and it works. There are 3 elements at work here and they mesh well together. The spirit barrels and juicy, candy-like orange are prominent but don't overwhelm what seems to be a relatively dry, roasty stout.
Recommend for sure.
