Dark, slightly murky brown pour, opaque in the glass; nice head, dense and spongy, lasting. Sweet dark chocolate nose; vanilla. Rich milk chocolate and cocoa powder; chili pepper heat starts slowly and then rips through the sweetness; dark, charred grains. Heavy body; smooth and oily; lots of pepper heat off-setting sweetness.
This is a very tasty, well-crafted Mexican chili porter. Rich and flavorful, well-balanced and delightful!
