Sampled at Boise’s Imperial Stout get together, over 120 bottles to choose from. Black pour with ring of beige head. Roasty sweet aroma, taste brings notes of chocolate

Pours a black color with a foamy tan head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is caramel malts, coffee and chocolate. Taste starts sweet with the vanilla and chocolate but finishes with coffee and a malty bitterness.

Very dark black coffee colored brew, completely opaque, with a thick creamy head that looks like milk chocolate foam that retains very well and leaves great lacing.
The aroma is heavy, roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, anise, and alcohol. Nice!
The taste is sweet roasted malts, espresso, hints of chocolate, vanilla, hazelnuts and raisins with just a hint of hops and alcohol warmth at the end.
Medium bodied, smooth and creamy, very drinkable.
Overall a very nice brew, especially for cold weather.

Pours black with a foamy, caramel colored head. Thick, with fairly good retention and great lacing left behind. Very pleasing. Soul crushing aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, and a twinge of alcohol (especially as it warms). Aroma is dark, and mighty. Taste is a smooth crescendo into a peak of roasted malts and cocoa. A bit of alcohol on the back. Medium-long finish. Mouth feel is bold, thick, filling, and mouth coating. Every bit of a stout you can imagine. A tad bit grainy on the back end. Overall, a fantastic Russian Imperial Stout that delivers from first pour out of the fridge, to the mouth feel as it warms up. Delicious. So glad I was recommended to pick it up at the bottle shop.
Served in a 12oz snifter. Poured straight into glass until good cm tall head formed, then tilted to 45*.

22 oz. Bomber
Pours a very nice black color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus tan head, which leaves some very nice thick/creamy sticky lacing. The nose is malty, with some pretty nice chocolate/toffee notes, slight vanilla, with some licorice, kinda yeasty, roasty/nutty. The taste is very nice malty, very nice chocolate/toffee, licorice, slight vanilla sweetness, roasty, kinda yeasty. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty well. Overall, this is another very nice brew from RNB. Not really quite sure why they call it a Belgian Style Imperial Stout.

Pours a black color. One inch head of a tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of roasted malt, hops, sweet malt, alcohol, and a hint of licorice. Fits the style of a Russian Imperial Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, roasted malt, alcohol, hint of licorice, and hops. Overall, good appearance, decent aroma, blend, and feel, but lacking in body slightly.
