Review #600
Bottle 170/300 - Into Duvel Dancer Tulip
Awesome five-finger tan colored head rises from the deep light black brew. Moderate lacing for being a lighter, thinner brew...
Lots of vanilla, bourbon, rye, char, chocolate, not much hop. Lots of Deep dark goodness...
Thin, fluid, biscuity, gelatinous, nice coverage, roasty, coffee, light vanilla, tons of earthy barrel. Carbonation is light and relaxed, bitterness is nearly missing due to the vacuum the barrel holds... Remaining bite is lasting and draws you back for the next sip. Sweetness is buttery solid and light.
A killer offering from River North. Lots of sweet barrel notes, not much IPA characteristics, but it still holds the body well. Highly recommended, brewery release only.
